The 500 MILES ITALY is open only to owners of Harley-Davidson and Buell motorcycles. You dont have to be a HOG or a Chapter member. You have to respect traffic regulations and if you arrive at a checkpoint too early, you will have to wait for its opening. The opening of the checkpoint is calculated on an average that takes into account the speed limits. The 500 MILES ITALY is a ride in Italy with a distance of 500 miles ( 805 km.) to be covered in 24 hours. After the registration and the prologue, the ride starts from a hidden place on Saturday afternoon. The ride will be divided into stages, approximately 10/12.
